where art thou my player 1?

dear laawd...i had an awesome dream last night. well...not exactly awesomely awesome, but awesome enough to make me giggle like a duck when i woke up (like the time i dreamt i was dating Luhan and suddenly Kris came along to join..)

anyway, in it i was playing a 16 bit alien spaceship battle video-game with this unknown guy. i was a bit pissed with the dream though coz throughout the whole episode i couldn't exactly see his face. it was like purposely mosaiced (u know, those edit things they put on peoples' faces to blur them out) for some unknown supernatural reason. 

so...this guy was playing as player 1 and me as player 2. i think he was winning and his  attitude was like soo arrogant and bitchy and being a ginormous frazzelschmoopishtwatter. but surprisingly, i fell for this  frazzelschmoopishtwatter guy. my heartthrob. my player 1...

so to mr. frazzelschmoopishtwatter, wherever you are...do give me a call coz i think i've fallen for you.

you do not. should not. never. ever. if possible....
use 'aku' when speaking with someone you meet for the first time.
its even more wrong to do so when talking to someone older or of a higher status than you (your boss, etc).

No. its not wrong. its just that...i dunno. manners? i must say that we are not as strict as the korean language when it comes to addressing yourself but it is an unspoken rule to know how to and what to use when speaking with other people.

unlike the word 'I' which can be used towards anyone of any age, rank, or whether you've known them for a while or a long time...in Malay there are several terms that can be used as 1st person pronouns depending on the person you are talking to like:

aku - use it with your close friends, people who are younger than you, or your family members.

saya - use it in formal situations (interviews, meetings, etc), with people who are of higher status than you, people older than you, or people you meet for the first time.

there are also others like 'patik' which is used when speaking with the king and several dialects like 'ambo', 'teman', 'kamek'....

but then again, like i said. its not entirely wrong. i myself normally use it when 'speaking' to an unknown audience- like commenting on the internet. there are even times when after a while, my friends and I will subconsciously change 'saya' to 'aku' over time. just that..not at the first meeting.

New kids on the block..

i just wanted to say that i have added a new fav kpop group to my list. they're called Nu'est. 

actually i wasn't bothered to know about them at first. but i happened to hear a bit of their song at the end of this variety show. it's called Face and is really catchy and slightly different from the normal bouncy cutesy concept that they've been trying to promote right now. though the first person who attracted me was of course Princess Ren, he still had that cool dark side to him.

another reason why i decided to give them a chance was because i got bored of waiting for Exo to debut. so i suppose thanks to them... i have become a follower and unfortunately...an official pedo-noona. they're like...half a decade younger than me!!

*sob sob*

Cucur Badak

aiih..tensen plak cucur udang kawan beli ni takde sekor udang pon.

korang pernah dengar tak lawak pasal cucur udang vs cucur badak?

makcik: mari beli2...cucur udang 3 seringgit! mari2..

pian: makcik. cucur udang apa ni? takde pun udangnya.. =(

makcik: alaa...kamu kalau beli cucur badak ada ke badaknya?

selalunya lawak ni sampai situ je kan?
ni ada comeback..

"makcik...saya makan udang. makcik makan badak ke???"

Happy April Fools'?

So..today's supposed to be April Fools' day huh?
The only thing I'm worried about right now is whether or not i'll be able to complete Dr.R's assignment on time.
To think that i already set the alarm at 6.30am but only managed to get up at 11am...
Darn it.

I don't know the real story behind April Fools day, though the ones i've read are mostly related with religion. Actually i see nothing wrong in joking around with your friends so long as it doesn't go over the top.
But i don't think that you actually need a specific holiday for trolling. Coz then it makes everyone extra alert and be on their guard 24/7 on this particular day. Especially those who are easily made fun of.

Now. Back to Dr.R... T.T

Wrath of the Titans

Baru pulang dari menonton Wrath of the Titans di Midvel. RM9 untuk student price.

Yang sengalnya...kami boleh pulak tersalah masuk hall. Kami termasuk Hall 2 sbb pintu tu bersebelahan. Selalu pergi mana-mana cinema kan ada 2 pintu untuk masuk kan? kan?? 

derr...

Basically, cerita ini boleh tahan. 3.5/5? Movie ini adalah kesinambungan dari movie Clash of the Titans (2010). To me, I like these types of movies sebab ada elemen fantasi dan karut-marut. heheh...

Another thing, if you wish to watch this movie, I suggest that you do a bit of research regarding greek gods or greek mythology. Hal ini kerana mungkin anda akan sedikit keliru mengenai watak-watak yang terlibat dan peranan mereka.

Oleh  itu, saya bermurah hati untuk menceritakan serba sedikit latar belakang watak-watak utama keluarga ini untuk anda. 

Perseus adalah anak kepada Zeus hasil hubungannya dengan seorang manusia. Ini menjadikannya seorang separa dewa (demi-god). Zeus merupakan dewa langit dan mempunyai 2 orang adik bernama Poseidon yang merupakan dewa laut dan Hades dewa neraka (?) atau Underworld.  

Zeus, Hades dan Poseidon merupakan anak kepada Kronos, salah seorang daripada Titans. Tetapi mereka telah menggulingkan bapa mereka ini dan memerangkap beliau di Tartarus. Poseidon juga mempunyai anak demigod bernama Agenor yang akan membantu Perseus menyelamatkan Zeus nanti.
Hades berdendam dengan Zeus sbb telah ditipu oleh Zeus (yang dulunya gila kuasa) dan tak pasal2 Hades dihumban dan disuruh 'jaga' Underworld. So dia berpakat dengan Ares (anak Zeus yang diabaikan) dan Kronos untuk menjatuhkan Zeus.
